With proper maintenance, fences can last a long time. By regularly inspecting your fence, keeping it clean by removing mildew, painting, and even resealing it, you’ll get a lot of life out of it. Safety concerns. When a fence is so bad that it no longer fences off or protects, it should be replaced. Do not let your home be vulnerable. A very weak fence may collapse and hurt people, property, and pets.  

Cost considerations. When the repair is not economical, a replacement may be better for your finances. By investing in a new fence, you’ll most likely have warranty coverage and not have to worry about continuing to put money into constant repairs. 

Out of style. Your fence may qualify for a replacement if it is simply too old fashioned. This can affect the resale value of your property, too. Beyond being aesthetically appealing, you may also wish to incorporate a different type of fence material throughout your property.
